Skeever membership policies between the two guilds are slightly different. This page refers to TRUSTY SKEEVER EMPORIUM ONLY.
Membership Policy
We have always prided ourselves on being a great trading guild for casual players, but since this guild has no monetary contribution requirement, we rely heavily on people buy and selling, as well as raffle ticket purchases and donations.
Maintain Active Membership
In order to be considered active, the following must be true:
The member:
A) must have been online within the last 14 days AND must have sales and/or purchases within the last 14 days (no minimums)
OR
B) must hold the rank of Golden Skeever, Fortune 500, or Generous
New Trusty members (Skeeverlings) need to buy and/or sell (or alternatively become Golden) within 7 days of receiving their welcome mail.
PROMOTION/DEMOTION PROCESS
Monthly Member Rollover
Member rollover will happen at the end of the month and at that point GOLDEN Skeever members are rolled back to regular Skeever rank UNLESS they don’t have any sales in the last 14 days. Golden Skeevers without sales are moved to the Endangered rank, are sent a reminder message, and then have 7 days to either buy/sell or become Golden again.
Removed members can always request a re-invite to the guild as long as they were removed for inactivity. This is true for members who decide to take a longer break from the game. Members who are removed for violations of the Code of Conduct will not be readmitted into the guild.
Priority guild acceptance is given to previous members, family/friends of members, and members from our sister guild, Scheming Skeever Imports. Please make sure to put in your guild application if any of these are true. There is also a channel in our Discord server for absences and invites. An in-game mail to SaSa also works.
Since we prioritize readmitting returning members, we ask that folks taking lengthy leaves (deployment, vacations, work assignments, etc.) to let us know and to remove themselves from the guild until such time that they return. If you think you will be out of game for less than 30 days but more than 14 days, than it is important for the member to include that information on their guild note.
Promotion/Demotion Policy
All new members get put into a category called “Recruits”. This is so we know who to send a welcome mail to. Once “Recruits” get the welcome mail, they are promoted to Skeeverling. The due date for buying/selling will be posted in the member’s guild note and generally is 7 days from when the welcome mail is sent.
Once a Trusty Skeeverling has bought/sold through the guild store, they are promoted to Skeever. A member keeps the rank of Skeever so long as they buy/sell AND be in the game every 14 days. If a Skeever should become inactive based on sales, they may be demoted to ENDANGERED Skeever for 7 days. Any Skeever who is not in the game for 14 days, may be removed without warning.
Once any member contributes 10k or more in raffle tickets or donations, they will be promoted to GOLDEN Skeever (meaning they are Good as Gold or for folks unfamiliar with that idiom, they are good for the month in which the contribution is made). Membership officers use guild bank data to promote members to GOLDEN, thus the contribution needs to be 10k or more in one lump sum deposited directly into the guild bank. Members can see their deposit history by going into the Guild menu
Fortune 500 & Generous promotions/demotions occur as needed.
TRUSTY SKEEVER RANKS
Skeever King
There can only be one and it is the person who starts the guild. Has full access to all guild functions.
Cheesy Consorts
In this case, Cheesy Consorts function as a co-guildmasters.
The King’s Eyes (aka Officers)
These are people who take on particular responsibilities in order to help the guild function better.
Generous Skeevers are people who significantly impact the guild in terms of donating time, talents, or energy to the guild OR who give items of substance for the weekly guild raffles. It is through the generosity of such members that we can continue to offer cool prizes in order to raise funds for hiring our guild trader. Generous Skeevers are vital to helping the guild stay successful. Donations of 100k grant members generous status for 30 days. (Note: Buying raffle tickets are not considered donations). For each 100k in donations, a member will get 30 days of generous status. We keep track of all of the donations worth more than 1k and will promote/demote as needed. Raffle winners that choose to donate their prizes back to the Skeevers will receive donation credit for that. You also can donate money directly to the guild by making sure that deposited amounts in the guild bank are NOT a multiple of 1000. We keep track of that too!
A major perk for being a Generous Skeever is that anyone holding the Generous rank will receive a +1 Raffle bonus should they happen to win a prize. This means that if you win a Group 4 prize, a Generous Skeever will be bumped up to a Group 3 prize.
Fortune 500 Skeevers are members that have bought/sold in excess of 500k in the previous 30 days. This rank potentially changes every week. If someone loses Fortune 500 Skeever status, they are moved to the rank of Golden Skeever for the remainder of the month. This means that they are exempt from the monthly contribution requirement.
Golden Skeevers are members in good standing. who contribute 10k or more per month. This can be done by:
- Buying raffle tickets
- Buying an auction lot
- donating items for raffle prize bank or auction
- donating gold
The biggest advantage to being GOLDEN is that you can get up to 30 days of inactivity instead of 14. However, at the end of the month, this rank is reset.
Skeevers are members who are maintaining minimum membership in the guild through being in game and buy/selling within the last 14 days.
Endangered are Skeevers who may be removed from the game for inactivity – generally for no sales/purchases. This includes previously Golden Skeevers who get demoted at the monthly member rollover. Generally (and in a perfect world) endangered Skeevers will get a message and seven days to make sure they are considered active. However, anyone may be removed, without warning, for inactivity.
Skeeverlings are new members who need to buy or sell any amount OR contribute 10,000g (through donation or buying raffle tickets) within 7 days of receiving their welcome mail or they will be removed from the guild. Once a member buys or sells, they will be promoted to Skeever. If they choose to contribute 10k (or more) then they will be promoted to Golden Skeever for the current month.
Recruits are new guild recruits and are automatically put into this category. Recruits are then promoted to Skeeverlings once they have received their welcome mail to the guild.
